Cricket can be a risky sport. As well as a risk of muscle and joint injury, the ball can be a major hazard.

Cricket balls weigh 163g and can be bowled at over 100kph. However, the biggest risk is to fielders, who go without helmets or gloves.

The Cricket First Aid Kit is essential for cricket clubs, containing a range of products ideal for treating cricket related injuries, including Cetrimide Cream, Freeze Spray, Nasal Plugs, Hyper Cover Skin Closure Strips and more.

The Cricket First Aid Kit is supplied in a water resistant run on bag that is easy to transport to the location of the casualty.

Another question many teams are unclear on are whether the home team are responsible for providing care for an away team, however it is in fact the away teams responsibility to bring their own first aid kit.

We are not suggesting that injured away players should be denied access to equipment if needed, but the home club’s responsibility is to provide cover for its team and guests of the club.
