The St Stithians College Easter Sports Festival (Saints Fest) is back for the 2022 edition and promises to be yet another great spectacle.
The Festival is a celebration of sport, camaraderie, and enjoyment by approximately 2 500 participants. Those who have experienced past festivals will know the exhilaration and excitement generated by this flagship event.
The Saints Easter Sports Festival has grown into a unique sporting event in the South African schools’ calendar.
Beginning as a Rugby Festival in 1984 the Easter Sports Festival has grown to include another five sporting codes, including hockey (boys and girls), netball, tennis (boys), basketball (boys) and squash (boys and girls).
This family-oriented weekend caters for young and old, offering a full programme of sporting action, entertainment, hospitality and food, and attracting spectators from across South Africa.
Fixtures are played over the Easter weekend, involving over 500 sportsmen and women from leading schools across the country.
Over 70 teams (boys and girls) will be participating in football, hockey, netball, rugby, squash and tennis. The St Stithians Easter Sports Festival is the largest school sports festival in South Africa.
