St John’s College presents the 25th St John’s College Easter Rugby Festival, proudly sponsored by Standard Bank. This annual celebration of the best in schoolboy rugby takes place over the Easter weekend on the 14th, 16th and 18th of April.
The St John’s College Easter Rugby Festival is a fun-filled day for the whole family with a tented VIP deck area overlooking Burger Field, gourmet food stations, chill areas, the Beer Village with a big stage and performances, kiddies play area, tea garden and more.
A crucial ingredient of the festival is to provide a platform for the participating teams to play without the pressures so typical of normal seasonal fixtures. There are no league tables, trophies or medals – this is about the love of rugby, school spirit and community.
St John’s College welcomes visitors to the festival from far and wide, and this year will be no different as we have a phenomenal line-up of College and Prep schools participating.

The number of tickets available for sale each day is regulated by the current State of Disaster Act and so we will be releasing tickets in phases.
No proof of vaccination is required.
General access Festival tickets are R50. A limited number of guaranteed general access tickets are on sale now through Webtickets.
Children under 6 and students in school uniform may enter for free.
